Duties: The School of Business at the State University of New York at New Paltz invites applications for a Lecturer of Management/Entrepreneurship position starting Fall 2020.
The School is AACSB accredited and has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students. We offer undergraduate degrees in seven business majors, including Business Analytics, a general MBA and an MBA in Public Accountancy. The normal teaching load for a Lecturer is five courses per semester. Faculty also participate in curriculum development and assessment, and engage in other service duties for the school and the college. The selected candidate will teach courses such as Entrepreneurship, New Venture Development, Social Entrepreneurship as well as other management courses including Principles of Management and Leadership as needed. The faculty member will also participate in entrepreneurship activities that involve students with the business community and are encouraged to publish research in practitioner-oriented journals.

Qualifications: MBA or Master’s degree in a related field is required. Business experience, experience in starting and managing entrepreneurial ventures and/or experience in developing and teaching entrepreneurship curriculum is preferred. We especially encourage applications from individuals who can bring diverse cultural and ethnic perspectives and experiences to the campus and who can advise and mentor all members of our diverse student body.
