Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is a program designed to assist students who do not possess the regular admission requirements yet show promise and potential for academic success at the collegiate level. This program is only open to New York State residents. Applicants must also demonstrate historical financial need as specified by the policies of the program.
To be considered for EOP, students must:
- Indicate EOP on the SUNY Application for Admission.
- Submit an official high school transcript.
- Submit the results of either the SAT or ACT exam.
- Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Submit the SUNY New Paltz EOP Supplemental Application*.
