Paper applications are available at all New York State high school guidance offices and community college transfer offices.

Application Fee:

The SUNY Application fee is $40.00 per college choice and is non-refundable.

Individuals who have applied to SUNY New Paltz as an undergraduate can login to the undergraduate applicant system at http://applicants.newpaltz.edu/undergrad to check the local status of their application once SUNY New Paltz has received it from SUNY ASC.  To check the application status with SUNY ASC, please visit their site, www.suny.edu.



International

  • Completion and submission of the SUNY Application for Admission.

  • Do not forward paper applications for admission to SUNY New Paltz. Paper applications must be submitted to:

  • Applicants must submit all official documentation from secondary school (freshman applicants) or university (transfer applicants) with official certified English translation to:

  • Do not submit this form to Admission. It will only delay the processing of the I-20 form needed to request a student visa from the US Consulate.

Application deadline dates:

  • FALL semester - All applications and supporting documentation must be received by March 15th.
  • SPRING semester - All applications and supporting documentation must be received by October 15th.

Students interested exclusively in studying English-as-a-Second-Language only need not complete this application. You may apply directly to The Haggerty Intensive English Language Program. Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)

The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is a program designed to assist students who do not possess the regular admission requirements yet show promise and potential for academic success at the collegiate level. This program is only open to New York State residents. Applicants must also demonstrate historical financial need as specified by the policies of the program.
