All students who borrow under the federal loan programs are required to complete an Exit Counseling session when they graduate, withdraw, drop below half-time, or transfer to another college.

Exit Counseling for Direct Loans can be completed online at www.studentloans.gov. You will need your FSA ID to log in.
Exit Counseling for Perkins Loans can be done:
Online - If you completed your Entrance Interview and Promissory Note online, you can complete your Exit Counseling online at http://slsc.albany.edu/.
In Person – If you completed your Entrance Interview and Promissory Note in person, you will need to contact the Student Loan Counseling Office at 845-257-3198 to make an appointment to complete your Exit Interview.
