STARS Assessment
SUNY New Paltz achieved STARS Silver in 2015 and 2018. STARS is used to measure sustainability progress across all dimensions of a higher education institution including academics and research, campus and community engagement, operations, and planning & administration. In 2022, we are preparing our third STARS submission to the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
