The diploma documents the award of the degree (e.g. Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts). Undergraduate students also receive a separate certificate to acknowledge the major(s) and, if eligible, minor(s). Usually the degree is conferred on the last day grades are due and it is mailed 6-8 weeks after the final grades are submitted. The diploma and certificate will be mailed to the requested address.
In order to protect the privacy of the student's educational record, Records & Registration staff can only disclose non-directory information to an individual who has been authenticated as the student or to a third party who has been properly authorized to receive that information.
