Recommended Personal Supplies to Bring with You

Documentation

  • High School transcript and AP Score Reports (if available)
  • Any Financial Aid, Health, Emergency Contact forms (forms to be completed online)
  • Valid Picture ID/ Health Insurance Cards

Bedding/Toiletries

  • Extra Long Twin Bed Linens
  • Blanket
  • Pillow and pillowcase
  • Bath towels
  • Shower caddy/shower shoes
  • Personal toiletries (soap/hand soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoos, etc.)

Supplies

  • Laptop - It is strongly suggested that you bring your own laptop/PC and flash/usb drive (Computers are available on campus for free usage; however, access is limited)
  • Notebooks (quantity: approx. 2)
  • Pens, pencils, highlighters
  • First Aid kit
  • Alarm clock

Clothing

  • Clothing (suitable for both cold and warm weather)
  • Clothes hangers
  • Class presentation clothing/outfit
  • Award Ceremony outfit (can be same outfit used for Class Presentation)
  • Jacket and Umbrella
  • Sneakers
  • White T-shirt

Personal items

  • Tissue
  • Flashlights
  • Headphones
  • Insect repellant
  • Medicine (Tylenol, Motrin, Aleve, etc. – We are unable to provide that for you).
  • Laundry detergent and bag (free laundry is available)
  • Fan (the residence hall is temperature controlled; however, some students prefer to bring a fan)
  • Phone charger

OPTIONAL

  • Sports clothing and sports equipment
  • Swimsuit
  • Sewing kit
  • Money - cash or physical credit/debit card preferred (spending money for optional personal extras)

DO NOT BRING

  • TV
  • Refrigerators (already in the residence hall)
  • Microwaves (already in the residence hall)
  • Extension cords (you can bring a power strip instead)
  • Candles
  • Valuables (they cannot be secured)
  • Personal vehicle (no cars allowed during EOP Summer Bridge Program)
  • Alcohol or Illegal Drugs/Prescribed Drugs not written to you
  • Anything that can be construed as a weapon
