Changes to Class Enrollment - Fall 2021
Students who register for fall 2021, will notice some important changes to the process. Students will soon receive a prompt in my.newpaltz.edu to review the Financial Responsibility Statement and agree to the terms. The prompt can be accessed in the following links:
- Registration > time assignment
- Registration > add/drop classes
- Registration > My Schedule Planner
Students will register according to dates in the Academic Calendar.
Graduate students start on April 12, 2021
Undergraduates start on April 19, 2021
During the summer, students will receive prompts in my.newpaltz.edu and reminders in New Paltz email to Confirm Enrollment prior to the start of the fall 2021 semester. Students must confirm enrollment in order to attend classes, receive access to Blackboard and to avoid having their courses deregistered.
To summarize the new process for enrolling for classes:
- Accept financial responsibility following the prompts in my.newpaltz.edu – This is only required once, even if you add/drop classes.
- Register for classes
- Confirm enrollment prior to the start of classes - This is only required once, even if you add/drop classes.
