New Paltz student with registration hold?
If you were recently notified by text message or email that a hold preventing registration was temporarily lifted by Students Accounts, you can now register for the fall semester on the web by following these steps.
Step 1: Arrange for advising and registration clearance.
- If you have declared a major, contact your major department
- If you are an EOP student, contact your EOP advisor
- All undeclared students should contact the Office of Academic Advising for assistance.

Step 2: Register on web
- Accept your financial responsibility. Go to my.newpaltz.edu > Registration > My Schedule Planner
- Register online. Go to my.newpaltz.edu > Registration > My Schedule Planner

Step 3: Need to make changes?
- After registration, schedule changes can be made on the web according the dates and deadline on the Academic Calendar
