Art Therapy

Our weekly open studio art therapy groups are offered in a supportive environment where students are invited to use creative expression as a tool for stress reduction, social connection, and wellness. No prior art experience is necessary, and all materials are provided. For more information on our Art Therapy program, see the link below.

Walk and Talk

The DRC hosts a biweekly Walk and Talk Program that allows students to casually build their social networks while also getting fresh air and exercise. Students will walk around campus with a walking leader from our staff for around 30 minutes.

Mondays at 1pm meet in HAB lobby

College Connections

A group for students on the Autism Spectrum to share experiences and develop community.

Tuesdays from 2-3pm in HAB 204

 

ADHD Minds: Building Strong Study Skills for Success

A supportive and inclusive space for college students with ADHD and Learning Disabilities to learn tailored study skills, have peer support, and be a part of a community that understands your unique needs.

Exploring Writing

This group offers opportunities to experiment with different forms of writing, including skills for academic writing and expressive free writing. The creation of disability narratives, a writing form that has become increasingly important to the disability rights movement in giving a voice to individuals with disabilities, will also be explored.
