Duties: The Counseling Graduate Program at the State University of New York at New Paltz invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Counseling position beginning in Fall of 2014.
Successful candidate will contribute to M.S. programs in school and mental health counseling, teach courses in school counseling and mental health counseling, share responsibility for coordinating/overseeing school counseling placements, and engage in committee work. Must be committed to excellent teaching and show research promise and/or accomplishment. Other duties: student advising, student mentoring, and university service.
Qualifications: Doctorate or ABD in counselor education with experience in school counseling and mental health counseling required. Certifications/licenses in school and/or mental health counseling desirable.
