Kids on Campus

SUNY New Paltz offers camps, clinics and workshops for children of all ages and ability levels in many different areas of interest, including the arts, STEM, writing, and athletics. Join the hundreds of families who have already discovered the fantastic opportunities for learning, growth and play on campus this summer!

SUNY New Paltz adheres to Child Protection Policy Standards when children under the age of 17 are in the care and custody of SUNY New Paltz faculty, staff and students. You may review the policy here.


  
Young Writers

For children who are in need of remedial literacy support.

Literacy Center Summer Program
Capacity: 60

14 two-hour sessions of reading help from Literacy Program graduate students (all certified teachers), guided by SoE faculty. Individual/group tutoring. Capacity will depend on number of grad students enrolled in accompanying fieldwork course. Dates are as follows:

7/9 to 7/11; 7/15 to 7/18; 7/22 to 7/25; 7/29 to 7/31

 

Times**

There is an AM session from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM.

There is a PM session from 1:45 PM to 3:45 PM.

Children attend either the AM or PM session, not both.
