Myra Kressner ’76 has 40 years of publishing and marketing experience focused in the retail and food service industries. After beginning her publishing career in 1976 at a New York-based firm publishing 30 consumer titles, Kressner found her niche in trade media/communication in 1978 at Lebhar-Friedman, Inc., a leading trade publisher.
In 1981 Kressner co-launched Retail Insights and Retail Marketing Group publishing and consulting businesses as an early pioneer establishing the value of electronic media and of networking. In 1994 Kressner co-founded CSP Information Group, building an impressive portfolio in publishing, media, and conference innovation for the food retail and foodservice industries, which was sold in 2012 to Winsight Media. Myra formed Kressner Strategy Group consulting company in April 2016.
Ms. Kressner graduated cum laude from SUNY New Paltz. She lives in Bayside, N.Y. and Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
