The Italian studies program at SUNY New Paltz offers you a glimpse into this rich linguistic tradition and provides you with important skills for your personal and professional development. Our language courses will expand your proficiency in written and verbal communication, which can enhance your competence in areas as diverse as art, business, fashion, history, and music, just to name a few. Our content courses in literature and film will provide you with valuable insights into Italian culture, which will broaden your approach to the world.
