College Extends Contract with e2campus
On March 17, 2008 the college decided to extend their contract with e2campus, their text messaging mass notification provider on campus known as TXT.me.NP (now NP Alert), for another year. Later this spring we will be adopting new pieces of the e2campus product, including the ability to receive automated phone calls, and using their multiple modality module that will allow us to push the same data and/or voice messages through the college's new public address system and digital signage.
The college originally signed up with e2campus and started using their service on Friday, April 13, 2007 just three days prior to the tragic shootings at Virginia Tech.
