The College, founded in 1828, is a vital part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system of higher education. The President reports to the SUNY Chancellor, Jim Malatras.
The New Paltz Presidential Search Committee seeks to attract an able and experienced administrator of impeccable integrity, who values consultation and transparency in decision-making, is skilled in interpersonal relationships, and who will sustain and strengthen the academic excellence achieved by the college in recent years. Successful experience in fund raising will be a very important consideration.
Applications and nominations will be accepted until the new President·is selected; however, optimal consideration will be accorded candidates whose materials are submitted by Nov. 29.
