Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management

Stella Turk was appointed Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management on March 6, 2023.

In her role as Interim vice President, Turk oversees the Office of Undergraduate Admission, the Office of Veteran & Military Services, Student Accounts, and Student Financial Services, the Office of Records & Registration, the Center for Student Success/Office of Academic Advising, the Scholars’ Mentorship Program, Special Sessions & Partner Programs, and Admission Technology & CRM.

Since 1994, Turk has held positions of increasing responsibility at SUNY New Paltz. She served as Director of the Speech-Language & Hearing Center for more than a decade; coordinated the Deaf Studies Program from 2010-13; served as Associate Dean in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences from 2007-17; and has also taught courses as a faculty member and former Chair of the Department of Communication Disorders.

She was named Registrar in 2018 after a competitive national search, and has provided leadership and direction in helping the Office of Records & Registration support students, faculty and staff on campus through careful maintenance of permanent academic records and schedules of classes. She advanced to the new position of Executive Director of Student Services in fall 2022.

Turk holds a Doctor of Audiology degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences, a Master of Science degree in Audiology from Brooklyn College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders and Education, also from Brooklyn College.
