Spring Startup Pitch Competition


March 28th marked an exciting day for founders and investors alike as the Hudson Valley Venture Hub held its semiannual pitch competition. It was a night to unify the various individuals making up the entrepreneurial network in the Hudson Valley; celebrating our successes and springing toward the future. At the Senate Garage in Kingston, New York, ten investment-ready startup companies delivered a five-minute pitch to the startup community that included investors, angels, service providers, entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts. The Hudson Valley Venture Hub awarded $10,000 in cash prizes to three promising startup companies.

The Hudson Valley Venture Hub invited ten energized startup companies, working within our accelerator and building their companies in the region. These startups included companies from various industries including Fintech, Film. Medical devices, Food and Beverage, Artificial Intelligence, and more.

The startup companies include:

    1.  Knot

Knot is a mobile application that alleviates the headache caused by losing your card! Instead of forcing consumers to enter their new card information on every platform their card information is used, Knot allows users to update card information at the click of a button!

  1. Force Studios

Force Studios is an independent entertainment studio that is giving consumers what they are missing from the current movie industry! Force Studios is crafting original musicals and family films right here in the Hudson Valley!

  1. Dam Good Muffins

Dam Good English Muffins is reinventing the stale English muffin category that is dominated by artificial ingredients, preservatives, and stabilizers! Dam Good Muffins are the only square shaped English Muffin made with gut healthy sourdough starter and no preservatives!

  1. Adro

Adro is a platform specifically designed to provide international students and workers with financial services in the United States the day they arrive! Adro works to get international students and workers access to checking accounts, saving accounts, credit cards and international money transfers!

  1. Liberty Leaf

Liberty Leaf combines AI, machine learning, and blockchain technology, to offer fast, secure, and transparent transactions while also protecting the rights of all involved parties.

  1. Blondery

Blondery is a luxury bakery crafting blondies (a mix between brownies and cookies) made with high quality ingredients. Whether sending as a gift or purchasing for yourself, Blondery is sure to delight!
