Walk of Honor

Created by the SUNY New Paltz Foundation, the Walk of Honor consists of brick pavers engraved with a personal message. Located near Hopfer House and behind the Student Union Building, tribute bricks surround the sculpture, Large Hybrid, created by renowned artist Richard Hunt and given to New Paltz by The Dorsky Gallery Curatorial Programs in 2002.

For a $150 donation to the SUNY New Paltz Foundation, a brick paver will be added to the Walk of Honor engraved with your name or that of a loved one. Engraved bricks commemorate those most dear to you by remembering family members, friends, or your favorite faculty and staff members.

  • The SUNY New Paltz Foundation reserves the right to refuse a brick order.
  • Due to logistics, please allow us to select where your brick will be placed.
  • All orders are non-refundable and cannot be changed once submitted.
  • Bricks are typically installed once a year, in late Summer or early Fall.

Please email npfund@newpaltz.edu if you need more information.
