What I am most looking forward to as a community mentor?
I am looking forward to mentoring my residents and making sure that they know that I am always here to talk if they need a friend or just someone to listen to them. I want them to feel both appreciated and valued. I can’t wait to meet my residents and help create a close-knit family of Leadership residents.
What kind of in-hall programs or activities I plan to do with my residents?
I plan to run a program called, “My Heart, My Inspiration,” and my leadership mentees would reflecting on those they miss the most back at home, identify skills that those people possess and then I intend to help them develop those skill(s) in order to be a better leader both personally and academically on the SUNY New Paltz campus.

What I am most looking forward to as a community mentor?
I can’t wait to meet the incoming freshman and help them feel comfortable in their new environment and know that they can come to me for anything.
What kind of in-hall programs or activities I plan to do with my residents?
I plan on doing team building activities or plan trips to volunteer at different places if possible outside or even in New Paltz, so that they can get a feeling of their surroundings.

I am looking forward to meeting all my new residents and helping them transition into college life.
What kind of in-hall programs or activities I plan to do with my residents?
I hope to hold programs and activities that cover physical, mental, and spiritual health. Some activities could include topics such as nutrition, personal hygiene and keeping a healthy sleep schedule.

What I am most looking forward to as a community mentor?
I am looking forward to guiding incoming freshman on their journey of discovering their interests and passions. I can’t wait to get to know the community members and see where their interests lead them as well as being a resource for them along their exploration.
What kind of in-hall programs or activities I plan to do with my residents?
I am planning on holding many programs involving career exploration activities, such as “Exploring the Majors”, “Resume Building”, and “Speed Interviewing”! I’m so excited to go on this journey with the incoming freshman in discovering the many opportunities they have in front of them.
