Honors
Each year, the Department of Anthropology recognizes majors who exceed the rigorous requirements of our program with exceptional academic performance. Any student who has completed at least 12 credits of anthropology coursework, has an overall GPA of at least 3.0, and has an anthropology coursework GPA of at least 3.5 can graduate with Anthropology Honors and is eligible to join the Lambda Alpha Honors Society for Anthropology, Rho Chapter of New York. You do not need to join Lambda Alpha, however, to receive Anthropology Honors.
