HQ at the Student Union

Services of the HQ at the Student Union Desk

The HQ at the Student Union is located on the first floor of the Atrium.  The student staff will provide you with assistance and information about the events, activities, and involvement opportunities within the Student Union Building.  Additionally, any student can get the equipment they need to enjoy the pool tables and ping pong table in the Entertainment Commons.  The HQ Desk also signs out club office keys and manages a lost and found.

Club Office Key Sign-out Procedures
Organizations which are assigned office space in the Student Union Building are asked to complete a Student Union Office Key Permission List on Engage.  This form notifies the Center for Student Enagement which students have access to sign out the key to that office.  Approved students may sign out their office key at the HQ Desk; staff will verify with the student's New Paltz ID card.  Often, several clubs share one office space, making it imperative that individuals return keys to the HQ immediately after use.

Entertainment Commons Equipment Sign-Out
Students looking to use equipment for the pool or ping-pong tables need only to stop at the HQ at the Student Union and show their student ID!  There is a 50-cent charge for use of the pool tables, and a 25-cent deposit for ping-pong equipment.  The HQ at the Student Union staff will also be able to assist any student encountering a problem with the equipment.
