Coronavirus updates

Appointment-only COVID-19 testing will continue on campus this summer
You can get a test this week on May 13 at Awosting Hall
Starting May 20, College Terrace will be our summer testing site

Effective May 17, vaccinated people are exempt from SUNY’s weekly testing requirement
Exemption processed automatically when you confirm vaccination at my.newpaltz.edu;
Those who have not submitted vaccination info will need to test every week they are on campus this summer, in a continuation of SUNY’s testing policy

Info and instructions for sharing vaccination info with the College
Voluntary option to help us plan now includes exemption from weekly testing policy

College can now review and approve research involving incarcerated people
The Human Research Ethics Board has completed a multi-year effort to enable students, faculty, and staff to plan and conduct research studies with people in prison

Athletics Feature: Danny Jones
Danny Jones '22 (Management) has been a vital member of the men's baseball team this year, despite being unable to play on the field. As team manager, he works with players and coaches on strategy and approach, and has built tight friendships up and down the roster. "Danny is just the type of guy you want to have around," said team captian Anthony Amoroso '21 (Marketing).
