From Our Community

Video: Floating Verses @ Mohonk Mountain House
"Floating Verses" is an original soundscape music installation created by Assistant Professor Phyllis Chen and performed live in varied locales using mechanical music boxes. For this video, Chen and students in her Applied Composition course took their music box pieces to Mohonk Mountain House, adding delicate, atmosperic sounds to the serenity of the lake.
Find this and much more in the Department of Music's Listen Forward YouTube playlist, created as a way for students and faculty to continue performing for the community this fall.
