Through the New York Power Authority (NYPA), SUNY New Paltz conducted a comprehensive campus-wide Energy Master Plan in 2015. The plan focused on low-cost and no-cost strategies to implement Executive Order 88, Governor Cuomo’s directive to reduce the campus’ source energy use intensity by 20% by 2020.
