Each minor candidate is required to complete, by advisement, five additional Black Studies courses in at least two different cores. It is highly recommended that each minor candidate take one course from the Historical Core. Minors are also encouraged to consider taking KIS101 Elementary KiSwahili l and KIS102 Elementary KiSwahili ll to fulfill their language requirement for General Education.
