Major: Music/Jazz Studies

Hudson Valley native Sarah Perrotta has just released her fourth album of art-rock/dream-pop entitled Blue to Gold. Several years were spent working with legendary drummer/producer Jerry Marotta (of Peter Gabriel, Hall & Oates, Sarah McLachlan) at the iconic Dreamland Recording Studios in the Catskill Mountains to craft the sonics and songs of this stellar album.

Born into a musical family, Perrotta has been singing and composing music since early childhood.  She has performed and recorded with notables Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel), Garth Hudson (The Band), Sara Lee (The B52s, Gang of Four), Robert Greenall (The Fixx), Gerry Leonard (David Bowie), Guster, Jason Colette of Broken Social Scene and many others. Her music has been featured in several documentaries, major network TV episodes and film soundtracks including Changing Identities, a story of traumatic injury and art narrated by actress Meryl Streep. Under Trey Gunn’s label Third Star Records and European label 8 Hours Records, Sarah will be touring Switzerland, France and Italy with her band this Spring 2022.
