The Library Is Open! – A Semester-Long Celebration

People from every part of our community have come together to help celebrate the reopening of the Library’s beautiful new main floor! Events center on two themes:

  • Life and Impact of Sojourner Truth: former enslaved person, African descended resident of Ulster County, advocate for Women’s Rights, abolitionist
  • Value of Libraries: as places for creativity, conversation, community, scholarship, research
