How does pass/fail grading work?
In pass /fail grading, the course needs to be graded with a letter grade of D or higher first, in order to receive a pass P grade. If this option is selected, for grades below D, a fail F will appear on the transcript. Therefore it is not advisable to select this option for courses with a D- grade.
