Communication Toolbox: E-mail signatures


Instructions for Zimbra users using zmail.newpaltz.edu Web interface:

  1. Follow instructions 1-3 on the Zimbra help site to set up your signature
  2. In step 3 of the instructions above, select "Format as HTML" from the drop down menu to the right of "Signature Name."
  3. In the box under the "Signature Name," paste in and customize the content below.
  4. Put your cursor in the bottom of the signature box on a new line. Press the "insert image via URL" button on the toolbar.

  5. Copy and paste this URL into the box:

  6. Go back to the Zimbra signature instructions, following step 4 from the "Setting Up a Signature" list, then all of "Enabling a Signature" below that.

Instructions for Zimbra users using Thunderbird 24.1.0:

  1. Under Account Settings, select the account name on the left pane you'd like to add the signature to.
  2. To the right, under Signature Text, check the box that says "Use HTML."
  3. Paste the HTML code in the Thunderbird signature box, and customize the signature in Thunderbird.
