The Dorsky Museum understands that the cost of bussing can often be prohibitive for schools wishing to tour our exhibitions. We can offer assistance in this for Title 1 schools in the Hudson Valley (K-12) in the form of bussing cost reimbursements to cover the cost of transportation between your school and the Museum.

Schools must apply one month before their intended visit date, are asked to provide information regarding how the visit will fit into their curriculum, and are encouraged to provide feedback after the visit. This application must be submitted along with the group visit request form. If your application is approved, the cost of the museum tour will be waived.

We are happy to work with you to customize your visit to incorporate classroom learning, and have curriculum designed for a range of subjects including Social Studies, English, and Art.
