This collection includes outstanding examples of both two and three dimensional works of art from diverse cultures that date from the 2nd milenium B.C. to modern times. Areas of strength include objects from ancient Egypt and the Greek and Roman world, Pre-Columbian works, Asian prints spanning the 17th to 19th centuries, traditional African sculpture and masks, Australian aboriginal bark paintings, and Pacific Island artifacts from the early 20th century.
