Hudson Valley Writing Project

Preschool Fellowship

The Hudson Valley Writing Project is pleased to have received a foundation grant to support preschool educators who participate in our 2021-22 Invitational Institute.

This special fellowship honors early childhood teachers and their knowledge of early learning, literacy development, and the young child's social and emotional needs.

HVWP invites teachers of three, four and five-year-old children to apply to the Institute, a yearlong program that brings together passionate educators from a variety of settings to share their insights and experiences.

Our institute supports teachers in their professional and personal growth, giving them a sense of connection, community, and well-being. Joining a cohort of trusted colleagues, institute fellows develop new teaching practices and facilitation skills to share their expertise with others.

Preschool fellows attend the Institute tuition free and receive $1,500 to support their participation, as well as a certificate documenting OCFS/CTLE hours. SUNY New Paltz graduate credits are also available.

The application period is now closed. Please join our email list to learn about future opportunities.
