COU565 Disaster Counseling and Crisis Intervention

Theory and research in disaster mental health are studied. Activities of disaster counseling are practiced. Students complete a one-day American Red Cross training in DMH that will allow them to be deployed to disasters.

  • (COU510 Minimum Grade of D- or PSY551 Minimum Grade of D-) and (COU515 Minimum Grade of D- or PSY553 Minimum Grade of D-) and (COU540 Minimum Grade of D- or PSY552 Minimum Grade of D-)
