ARS533 Metal I

Introduction to various theoretical and critical concerns in metal. Students are expected to begin to explore both aesthetic and procedural alternatives beyond those with which they are familiar.


  • 3 (may be repeated for credit)


  • Must be enrolled in the following level: Graduate
  • Must be enrolled in one of the following majors: Art Studio (256), Sculpture (306), Metal (302), Painting-Drawing (303), Printmaking (305), Visual Arts Education (050A), Ceramics (301)
  • Students cannot elect the Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grade option for this course
