Edward Carroll is the chief operating officer of AMC Networks. A 26-year veteran of the company, Mr. Carroll oversees all operations for AMC Network’s highly-successful brands—AMC, IFC, Sundance Channel and WE tv—as well as advertising sales and the company’s international operations. Globally, Mr. Carroll has spearheaded the reach of AMC Network’s global brands into more than twenty countries across North America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer in 2009, Mr. Carroll was AMC Network’s president of Entertainment Services. He received his BA in Communications from New Paltz in 1985 and is married to alumna Gina O’Brien-Carroll ’86. The Carrolls reside in Huntington, New York and New York City.
