FUEL is a project of the School of Fine & Performing Arts which brings artists and scholars to campus to supplement and expand curricular offerings, including lectures, workshops, exhibitions, performances, and other special events. The projects are interdisciplinary in nature and often include two or more of the departments from within the School, as well as co-sponsorship with other schools, such as the schools of Business and Science & Engineering. The interdisciplinary aspect and the access to visiting artists and scholars are essential, and provide students with new ways of thinking, seeing, and making. The FUEL project is also designed to help us connect with alumni. Each project has a component in which we engage alumni.
