SUNY New Paltz UPD on Instagram
A new Adopt-a-Highway sign honors the late Gary Pietropaolo, a valued member of the University Police Department who served five years with UPD before his tragic death in 2018. UPD adopted the portion of Rt. 32 South that extends from the main entrance of the College to the front entrance of the UPD station, and dedicated it in Officer Pietropaolo's memory.
