File a "plan of study" during the first semester after matriculation.
Completion of prescribed course work and other requirements within five years after matriculation.
Any deficiency in the candidate's previous training resulting from inadequate undergraduate preparation in the subject area or major shall be removed by early advisement with the Secondary Education advisor.
Maintain a cumulative average of 3.00 or better, with no more than two grades below B-.
Foreign language competency (foreign language majors only).
Successful performance on a comprehensive examination and/or other culminating project.
