Professor Sheridan will hold office hours at Southside House Tuesdays and Fridays by appointment.

Career History

Robyn taught a foundations course called Diversity in Schooling in the Teacher Education Program at Southern Illinois University. She currently teaches Women, Images, and Realities in the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program.

Teaching Interests

Robyn's teaching interests center power, privilege and difference at the intersections of identity specifically in the context of pedagogy and education. Her teaching interests also include feminist and anti-oppressive pedagogies, women and gender in higher education, pedagogy and performance, and intercultural communications.
