Students in the following Orientation Leader groups will meet for their reunion meal at the locations below:

All other students will have breakfast on their own between 7:30am-8:45am.

8:50am – Meet up with your OL
Meet in your designated location and head to Lecture Center 100

**10:15am – Meet the Faculty
Your OL will take you to the following appropriate location based on your major to have the opportunity to meet with the Deans of the schools you will be studying
in (10:30am-11:30am). OL’s will then take you to Fall Convocation at 11:30am.

**12:00pm – Fall Convocation

This ceremony marks the official beginning of the academic year. President Poskanzer; our Provost Donald Christian; faculty and staff join all first-year students for this kick-off event and picnic which follows. Students must be seated by 11:45am. Meal tickets for the All-Campus Barbeque will be distributed. Only those who attend Convocation will be given a meal ticket. Tickets for preferred seating at the Lip Sync Finals will also be distributed (ticket not necessary for general seating).

Join faculty, staff and other students for some lunch and music on the lawn. Please note that Hasbrouck will not be serving lunch and all new students must receive a ticket at Convocation in order to get into the barbeque.

Indoor track, cardio & weight curves will be open. Equipment and bike rental available, basketball in Elting Gym & racquetball. Pool hours to be posted.

2:30pm-4:00pm – Getting to Know New Paltz Merchant Fair
Student Union Concourse
See administrators serve up sno-cones, free popcorn & cotton candy. Free raffle prize tickets, discount coupons, and food samples from local stores, restaurants, banks and faith organizations. Also visit tables to learn about different campus programs.

3:00pm – Navigating New Paltz
Student Union 409
If you had a 504 plan or IEP then Navigating New Paltz is the place to be! Attend this workshop and learn about the programs and services available through the
Disability Resource Center.

3:30pm – EOP Freshmen Mentoring Assembly
CSB Auditorium
EOP students meet their EOP Peer Mentors.

4:00pm – “Eating Healthy at Hasbrouck – Is there truth to the Freshman 15?”
Hasbrouck Dining Hall
Meet Evelyn Gezo, the Campus Nutritionist/Registered Dietitian and join this interactive session to learn how to prevent mindless eating by making healthful choices. A tour of the dining hall will be offered and factors that can lead to first-year weight changes will also be discussed.

4:00pm – Library Tour
Sojourner Truth Library Lobby
A tour to get to know your way around the library. Enter a raffle for prizes after you complete the tour.

4:45pm-7:00pm – Dinner/Reunion Dinners
