Welcome Center employees must be warm, professional, well spoken, and courteous with outstanding customer service skills. They must also have thorough knowledge of campus building/office locations, academic programs we offer, as well as cultural offerings and campus events.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering phones
  • Greeting walk-in visitors
  • Providing information such as directions, academic and cultural offerings, and event details
  • Selling visitor parking passes
  • Managing displays and literature racks

Fall 2016 Applicants: 

Along with the application, two references are required. References may be submitted to Kimberly Gallagher in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions through inter-campus mail or by fax to 845-257-3209. Please download the Reference Form PDF.

Selected applicants will be notified by April 1.
First round interviews will begin April 4 and go through April 12.
Second round interviews will consist of shadowing a current Welcome Center staff member during a shift beginning April 13 through April 22.
