SOC432 Sociology of Film

Students use sociological theory and research to analyze the content, form, production, and reception of Hollywood, independent, foreign, and documentary films. Themes include gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, immigration, class, stratification, labor, deviance, social control, crime, and law.
