How can I make the most of my tutoring experience?
- Arrive at the Center a few minutes early. Not only will this ensure that you meet with your tutor for the full session, but it will also give you a few minutes to look over your work and prepare for your session.
- Make sure you have all your class materials with you, such as books, notebooks, and handouts.
- Review class materials before your session and jot down questions you need to discuss with the tutor.
- Be realistic in your expectations of tutoring. It can not replace regular, alert attendance in class and thorough, thoughtful study.
