Career History

Ms. Wolfe brings over seventeen years of experience as a professional costume maker, most recently working for the renowned Barbara Matera. Ms. Wolfe was Ms. Matera’s assistant for five years before being promoted to the position of Draper, in which capacity she worked on numerous Broadway shows, national ballet and dance companies and some work in the film industry, including (Broadway) Sideshow, The Drowsy Chaperone, Carousel, Mary Poppins, the Paul Taylor Dance Company, Twyla Tharp Dance, and American Ballet Theatre. Designers Eleanor has worked with include Gregg Barnes, Bob Crowley, Santo Loquasto, and Julie Taymor. Her expertise includes pattern-making, draping and flat pattern. Her university experience includes four years as a costume maker for the University of South Florida.

Teaching Interests

Eleanor teaches Costume Construction, a required course for all Theatre Arts majors.
