Theatre Arts Curriculum

Theatre students receive a solid foundation in the history, literature and theory of theatre to provide the basis for artistic expression. On the foundation of broad theatre knowledge, the student will elect to pursue a concentration in one of two areas: Performance or Design/Technology. The heart of the performance track is the acting curriculum, with additional course offerings in directing, dance, and skills for the musical theatre. The Design/Technology track includes training in scenic, lighting, costume and sound design, with additional areas of study in stage management and technical theatre.
