Online Access to Phone Bills

Student/Faculty/Staff Personal Bills

All users of the SUNY New Paltz telephone network are billed monthly for telephone services (usage and monthly service).  These bills are available for viewing at to www.paetecasp.com/NewPaltz.  If you’d like to look up a number you call previously, just follow these procedures.

  • Using Internet Explorer, go to www.paetecasp.com/NewPaltz (please bookmark this address),
  • Select “Customer Portal”
  • At the login screen, enter your "mynewpaltz" e-mail username and password,
  • After you get the “Welcome” screen, click on “my bills” under the wide blue line on the top right,
  • Under your name on the left side, click on “view bill,”
  • You may then view your bills in Excel, pdf, or html format.

Administrative/NonState Organizations

Telecommunications is no longer printing telephone bills but each department or organization has a staff member who has online access to both summary and detailed bills.  To change your departmental access, please call x4357.

To access the bills, please follow these procedures:

  1. Using Internet Explorer, go to www.paetecasp.com/NewPaltz (please bookmark this address),
  2. On the Paetec screen, choose DEPARTMENT PORTAL,
  3. On the login screen, use your departmental account number for the USERNAME ( ) and your email identification ( ) (without the @newpaltz.edu), for your password, then hit enter,
  4. After you get the “Welcome” screen, click on “Reports” under the wide blue line on the top right,
  5. Use the drop-down menu to choose the department number,
  6. Tab over to the “Include Individual Detail” and click in that field if you want full detail on the phone bills,
  7. Under the blue line that has “Department,” choose which billing you wish to see by clicking in the circle to the left of it --each month you will be able to choose previous or current months’ billings),
  8. Scroll down to the “Select a report to run” drop-down menu and choose “DeptUsage_ByDept_SubDtl.rpt,”
  9. Then click where it says “Click Here to run report.”
  10. This report does not contain the extension numbers.  To find those, scroll down to the detail under the Subscriber ID and you will see under "FROM #" the extension that made the calls.
  11. You may then print this report by going to File/Print at the top left corner of your browser or by going to the print icon at the top of your browser,
  12. If you wish to view only the summary of the department’s charges, do not choose the option to “Include Individual Detail.”
  13. To close out the department’s report, click on the “X” at the top right hand corner of the window in which it appears,
  14. When you are finished looking at your reports, please make sure you logout by clicking on “logout” on the top right hand side under the wide blue bar.
