WNPC TV WNPC is the on-campus television station of SUNY New Paltz. WNPC has 2 channels on the campus cable line up. Channel 3 is a bulletin board of campus events and programs that are going on across campus. Channel 6 is the station dedicated to programming. Student produced shows as well as movies are broadcast 7 days a week to the SUNY New Paltz campus community.NPC-8 is the external arm of WNPC TV. NPC-8 is the leased educational access station operated and programmed by SUNY New Paltz. NPC is made possible through an agreement with Time Warner Cable in New Paltz. Channel 8 is Channel 40 on the campus cable line-up and is programmed with shows that are produced by students as well as one's received from other sources that are deemed to be of educational benefit of the community at large. WFNP RADIO WFNP is made up of 2 radio stations that broadcast from SUNY New Paltz. Like TV they are student managed and operated. WFNP AM broadcasts on campus and in the town of New Paltz while WFNP FM broadcasts to listeners across the Hudson Valley. THE EDGE programs music, news, and talk shows that brings the diversity of SUNY New Paltz to all its listeners. Both stations are broadcast over the Internet. THE ORACLE The New Paltz Oracle is the official student newspaper of SUNY New Paltz, partially funded by the student activity fee. Circulation is 4,000. The Oracle is published weekly throughout the fall and spring semesters on Thursday. It is available in all residence halls and academic buildings on campus, as well as various businesses in the New Paltz community. COMMUNITY MESSAGE BOARD All SA recognized campus organizations, non-profit community organizations, official university organizations, faculty and staff are permitted to submit a slide for the message board on WNPC-TV. The message board airs 24-hours a day, 7-days a week on campus TV channel 3. It is also shown in the town of New Paltz on Time Warner Cable channel 8 when no other programming is scheduled for that channel.
