Innovations in Elementary Education

Immersion Weekends
This program is designed to give educators the opportunity to take intensive weekend courses covering the latest innovations in elementary education. Courses are blocked into two weekend sessions. Some serve as electives in the MSED program and others are basic courses that apply to all plans of study.

Courses Offered in Summer 2012:

Summer 1 (May 23-June 27)
EED520/01 Literacy and Reading Development - Birth-Kindergarten
EED523/01 Reading in the Primary Grades
EED593/01 Teaching Foreign Languages: Grade K-8

Summer 3 (July 3 - August 7)
EED524/10 Reading in the Middle School
