Summer Housing Fact Sheet 2013

  1. All Summer residents will reside in Lenape Hall, which houses two styles of room: Corridor triple w/bathroom and Suite triple w/bathroom.
  2. Housing Requirement: You must be enrolled in at least one class per summer session requested.
  3. To reserve a room, you MUST complete a Summer Residence Hall License between April 15 and May 13 at the Office of Residence Life in Capen Hall. We are open Mon–Fri, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. STUDENTS WHO FAIL TO RESERVE A ROOM BY 5 P.M. ON MAY 13 WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED HOUSING.
  4. The following is a list of all Summer Session and Intersession check-in and check-out dates and times. If you need to stay for any period of a session, you will be required to pay for the entire session.
    • Intersession I – Only available to students who are currently on campus and who are living in the summer building during session 1.
      Intersession 1 runs from May 18 – May 20; however, you will remain in your current room until Sunday, May 19. You will check into Lenape Hall May 19 between 2–4 p.m. or 8:30–10 p.m.
      You MUST NOT go to Lenape BEFORE 2 p.m. as we will not be ready to check you in.
      • Lenape Corridor w/Bathroom Rent: $60
        Lenape Suite w/Bathroom Rent: $66
        Room charge covers May 18 – May 20
    • Summer Session I
      Check in May 21 from 2–5 p.m. or 8:30–10 p.m.
      • Lenape Corridor w/Bathroom Rent: $1080
        Lenape Suite w/Bathroom Rent: $1188
        Room charge covers May 21 – June 26
        Check out is on June 27 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
    • Intersession II – Only available for students who are staying for summer sessions I and III.
      • Lenape Corridor w/Bathroom Rent: $120
        Lenape Suite w/Bathroom Rent: $132
        Room charge covers June 27 – June 30
    • Summer Session III
      Check in (for people who are not here for Session 1) July 1 from 2–6 p.m. or 8:30–10 p.m.
      • Lenape Corridor w/Bathroom Rent: $1050
        Lenape Suite w/Bathroom Rent: $1155
        Room charge covers July 1 – Aug. 5 Check out is on Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
    • Intersession III– Only available for students living on campus for Fall 2012.
      • Lenape Corridor w/Bathroom Rent: $480
        Lenape Suite w/Bathroom Rent: $528
        Room charge covers Aug. 6 – Aug. 21*
      • Check out from Lenape and move into fall room assignment Aug. 14 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.*
        * Intersession III runs until Aug. 21 but students will move to their Fall Assignments on Aug. 14 between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
  5. Meal Plan– All summer residents MUST have a meal plan. Questions regarding food service should be addressed to Campus Car Services by calling 845-257-3034.
    • Meal Plan – 19 meals per week: TBD.
      Meal Plan – 15* meals per week: TBD. (* 15 meals per week are Monday– Friday, no weekends.)
  6. Due to the limited space, single room requests cannot be granted.
  7. Residents will receive their room assignment and keys when they check-in at Lenape Hall.
  8. All summer residents MUST have a meal plan. Questions regarding food service should be addressed to College Auxiliary Services (CAS) by calling 845-257-3034 or 3370.
  9. Residents must make payment for room and meal plan to Students Accounts when processing payment for tuition. Any questions regarding payment procedures may be directed to the Office of Student Accounts at 845-257-3150.
  10. It is a resident’s responsibility to inform family and friends of his/her mailing address and phone number. Due to the Family Rights & Privacy Act, the college is unableto release this information for you. Mail that is not properly addressed may be delayed in getting to you. Your summer address is:
