- All events must be registered and acknowledged by The Office of Student Activities and Union Services no later than twenty one(21) days in advance.
- In accordance with vending policies, any fund-raising programs must be registered and approved by The Office of Student Activities and Union Services. This includes food, soda, mementos, and Greek paraphernalia.
- All sub staff crew setups must be contracted twenty one(21) business days in advance of the event. The Office of Student Activities and Union Services provides these services. Failure to provide us with notice more then twenty one(21) days in advance will result in a 25.00 service charge.
- For late night events, all guests must submit their ID with their hosts and be registered at the front door of the MPR in order to gain admission to an event. The host and guest ID will be collected and all ID's must remain with the check-in staff.
- Guests will not be given access to an event if they do not or are not with a SUNY New Paltz student. Program organizers are encouraged to advertise this item in their promotional materials.
- Money collected by Greek organization can be collected by SUB Staff if the group desires to contract this as an additional service.
- All Greek organizations must pay for contracted services prior, via check or money order, otherwise, the event may be canceled. No bills will be paid by money collected at the door. In the event of co-sponsorship, the organization contracting the services is responsible for payment of the contract.
- One set of main doors to the Multi-Purpose Room will remain open throughout the event. Exceptions may be obtained with prior approval by The Office of Student Activities and Union Services.
- One set of lights in the Multi-Purpose Room will be on during an event.
- No paper will be taped over windows in the Multi-Purpose Room or Purple Lounge. Exceptions may be obtained with prior approval from the Office of Student Activities and Union Services.
- In order to protect the safety of patrons, dancing is prohibited on any stage in the Multi-Purpose Room during events with the exception of special performances registered and approved by The Office of Student Activities and Union Services.
- In order to protect the performers and the equipment, all step show performances are prohibited on the stage.
- For dance shows, no canes are permitted on the floor of the MPR. Special arrangements should be made to rent a dance floor when using canes and/or staffs.
- All arrangements for use of sound and lighting equipment must be made through the Office of Student Activities and union Services at a rate of $15.00 per hour twenty one(21) days in advance of the event.
- The SAM on duty will assist the event and will supervise all SUB Staff personnel during the event.
